Life Balance Pyramid

We all know the food pyramid. My kids have already learned it in the grade school. 

But I bet not many people have heard about the life balance pyramid.

The life balance pyramid is a simple and visual guide to help create balance and maintain a sense of sell-being in life. 

From basic needs, such as good nutrition, to relationships, purpose and coping skills, the pyramid is a model for emotional, physical and spiritual health. 

We not only need good nutrition as presented in the food phyramid, we also need emotional, physical and spiritual health to be healthy as a whole person. 

I think the life balance pyramid is a nice companion to the food pyramid.

    There are better alternatives: the new Healthy Eating Plate and the Healthy Eating Pyramid, both built by faculty members in the Department of Nutrition at the Harvard School of Public Health, in conjunction with colleagues at Harvard Health Publications.
